George A. Diamantis was born in Athens in 1989. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology
and he is a graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University with a Master of Science (MSc) in International Hospitality and Tourism Management. He has been part of intensive
workshops, summer schools, international projects and specialized seminars focused on Tourism Management and he has worked for various hotels and other tourism-
related businesses in Athens, Ios and Mykonos, as well as for the Group of Hilton Worldwide in Birmingham (UK). His working background is varied and multifaceted
as it includes wider experience in marketing, reservations, sales, front desk and food & beverage departments. In 2015, he was awarded with the Spirit of Innovation Award for the smooth operation of the Lounge Bar of Hilton Birmingham Metropole and for his involvement in the interactive staff training in marketing and sales courses. During the last couple of years, he has been working as an Account Manager in the Sales Department of Axia Hospitality and he is a supporter of all actions and activities that may contribute to the development of effective ideas and working relationships.
